Funny how things work out, and I’m a complete believer that everything happens for a reason.
I was contacted by a photographer one evening out of the blue, asking if I would like to be involved in an alternative photo shoot. Anyone who knows me knows this is right up my street.
All of a sudden we had 14 beautiful models who volunteered to model my dresses on a sunny day on Lancing beach for 10 hours with a photographer who I didn’t know, make-up artists and hairdressers whom I’d never met and our new lovely supplier Mike and Debbie who supplied the trike.
I’d seen Vix’s work and loved what I’d seen, she’s a natural. She’s just got it! Over 3000 photos and they are incredible.
She didn’t just stop there, after she had edited them she managed to get some of them into MM Magazine and 116 of them into SWANKY! This girl is incredible. We are so happy with how the shoot turned out and cannot thank Vix enough.
Here are the descriptions of the wonderful dresses featured in our shoot:
Belle: Belle is a princess dress with silver threaded flowers, a very full skirt with a layer of glitter tulle added to give that extra princess sparkle.
Fern: Fern has embroidered flowers all over the fabric which is softened by the layers of tulle over the top. Delicate spaghetti straps too for a subtle, yet stylish aesthetic.
Luna: Very different, this black wedding dress comes in ivory too. It’s so elegant and the lace train gives it the edge.
Cleo: This dress is so beautifully made, the precision of each pleat is unbelievable. The diamante detail on the bodice and the sleeves is absolutely stunning. A statement dress which is so comfortable to wear.
Sian: A floaty lightweight dress with layers of soft tulle, and beautiful appliques with no sparkle keeps this subtle. Criss-cross fabric is so flattering with delicate straps off the shoulders. We have ivory and nude in the boutique. Showing a completely different look.
Autumn: Floaty boho vibe with the bolero sleeves, low back and leaves as opposed to flowers in the lace, perfect for that woodland wedding.
Daisy: a traditional A-line style with a couple of layers of the netting sewn in to give it more poof! With bold lace pattern continuing throughout the dress.
